Today, I share with you an intriguing and mysterious story experienced by the esoteric writer Samael Aun Weor.
He witnessed an extraordinary phenomenon related to the summoning of a spirit through an unusual object. Prepare for a tale full of mystery!
Samael recalls the experience with a man who, whenever he accompanied him, carried a small box with a painted cross on the outside. The curious thing was that this man never revealed what was inside the box, but one night, he invited him to a "spiritism session." Filled with curiosity, the writer accepted the invitation and went with him to the man's ranch.
Upon arrival, in the dead of night, the host set up a table in the center of a room with a dirt floor. Other participants settled around it, and the man, with the box in hand, finally opened it. What did he take out? A skull!
"The skull of an Indian," he explained. Placing it on the table, the man began to recite some prayers, and they all waited. Suddenly, the sky darkened, black clouds gathered, and lightning and thunder began to appear. The table began to shake and eventually floated in the air, defying gravity.
The writer described that this was no trick. The man wasn’t interested in money – he was wealthy and deeply religious, with such fervent faith that he never parted from the box with the skull. Furthermore, he had never told anyone about these rituals, and it was pure luck that he invited him to this religious gathering.
The experience was truly supernatural. Samael, with keen eyes, confirmed that the table was indeed in the air. Even more impressive, the skull began to move on its own and approached him, as though guided by an invisible force. Though the writer wasn’t afraid, the situation was becoming increasingly tense.
Lightning illuminated the room, and suddenly, a shadow materialized physically and entered the room. The shadow passed by Samael, extended its hand, and touched him. He saw, in the flesh, what seemed to be a spiritual manifestation of an entity. The man, however, was visibly terrified, trembling in fear as the storm intensified.
After a few moments of panic, he decided to end the session. Terrified, he stood up and, with the help of spells and exorcisms, managed to bring the table back to the ground. The skull, in turn, returned to the box, and the man finally locked it with a padlock. "Enough, this is too dangerous!" he said, clearly shaken.
This experience left Samael Aun Weor stunned, with the certainty that he had witnessed something truly extraordinary and mysterious that night. But is this kind of phenomenon truly so uncommon?
What many don’t know is that, in the 19th century, phenomena known as "table turning" events took place, marking a milestone in the development of studies now known as Spiritism or Kardecism. Fascinating, isn’t it?
These mysterious events, like the one recounted by Samael, continue to spark curiosity and admiration, leading many to reflect on what lies beyond our rational understanding.
